About[edit]
One of the goals during development was to make the game very small. Hundreds of steps were taken to reduce file size such as a beefed up NES-like synth for music that makes music tracks take just a few hundred bytes of space. Most of the sound effects were also made this way, with just a few audio samples used.
Palette[edit]
All of the graphics have the palettes removed to save space. You can load them with the palette in Aseprite. First load a sprite, then in the palette menu, load the palette from data/graphics/palettes/palette.gpl.
Engine[edit]
Monster RPG 3 was the first game made with our first reusable engine and supporting libraries, Wedge, Shim and TGUI 3.
